NO .SOUNDS FILES FOUND
If a student is claiming that the .sound files are not on the computer, please check what tab they have open as different files/pre-sets appear depending on the tab selected, for example the first one in the images below has loops clicked as apposed to the Instruments tab being selected on the right-hand tab.
SOUND NOT COMING OUT OF SPEAKERS
If it sounds like there is no sound coming out of the speakers or if the sound is coming out of the computer it means that the program wasn’t started up with the speakers set to the default speaker, you can change this by clicking the speaker in the bottom right, and testing to see which option produces sound out of the speakers by clicking the blue pip towards the end of the line.
Alternatively, if you are already in the program and you need to swap the sound around, you can head into Studio One > Options > Audio Setup > Control Panel and clicking on the different Playback devices until it comes out of the speaker you want it to.
NO INPUT BEING RECEIVED FROM THE KEYBOARD
If you’re having issues with the keyboard not sending any inputs into studio one, please double check that the “Send To” option is selected as “None”, if this is selected as USB AudioDevice like in the “Receive from” box, it will create a loop of whatever key is being pressed is being sent straight back to the keyboard and not to Studio One.
